  Can you list watchtower articles that claim anything from the 'faithful slave' should be taken as from jehovah himself?

  just a few wts that put to the effect anything from them should be taken as from jehovah himself and also with elders or being disfellowshipped, that it means jehovah himself is angry with them, that's it's punishment from him.

  this weeks km disscusses the topic of why jehovah's witnesses are not false prophets.. on page 136 and 137 of the reasoning book, it asks and answers the following question:.

  have not jehovahs witnesses made errors in their teachings?.

  jehovahs witnesses do not claim to be inspired prophets.

  Did the Apostles make mistakes? yes. Did they make you agree with them? and disfellowship you if you disagreed? Did they print books on their theories, distribute them, make book study groups, and make people answer questions from the paragraphs that they made up and "ooops, later had to change?" Nope. Nope, nope, nope.

  back when i was preaching that this generation of 1914 would by no means pass away, that they were all very old, having been old enough in 1914 to understand the significance of the events of that year...it was just me running ahead.

  i made it all up!

  I'm not going back...finally

  it has been several years since my awakening.

  since then i have stopped pioneering, stopped doing temp work at bethel, stopped field service (at the most, i went out a few hours a month for the last couple of months), my meeting attendance has been around 50 percent or so.

  i have decided not to go back.

  This is my grease board moment I had this morning....

  This Generation…… Involves Overlapping of Apostles Lives?

  “We just now realized he was talking to the disciples, so it means their lives overlapped, in “overlapping generations”

  OK, so you want it that way.

  How long did the first, “by no means will this generation pass away” last?

  40 years.

  So, let’s go to “How long did the apostles live?” John writes “Revelation” in 96 – 98, must die shortly after.

  If you want to say “the apostles ‘overlapping lives’” then it ends shortly after 96-98?

  PLUS, let’s not forget, or be distracted by all the WTBS’s B.S., that it had already happened!!!
  Jerusalem had already been destroyed by 70 C.E.

  Are we suppose to forget that?

  If we are “looking back at history,” to get the “context,” then let’s “look back” at reality.

  The truth is soooooo simple.

  something i found a bit strange - that is the title of the brochure but on page three it asks - what is god's will?

  and it says "god wants us to live in peace and happiness on a paradise earth forever!".

  hello, i'm a 17 year old born in and i'm done with this religion.

  i came to the conclusion a year ago that i wanted to leave.

  How about saying something like this? "Mom, I don't think I am going to study with brother so & so anymore. He is trying to live my life for me, by setting goals for me, I want to set my own"

  "Getting baptized is like getting married, and I want to make sure that I am doing it because I want to, not because of pressure."

  and like LostGeneration said, and I totallllly agree.... "Jesus wasn't baptized until 30, and he was a perfect human being.. I am going to follow his example & wait. God doesn't want me to do things because of pressure from other people."

  Getting a job is good too! Yep, good idea... or, take some extra college classes at night? (When you are in high school, at least where I live, classes count double for you.. They count toward high school graduation, and you get college credit using the same amount of time & energy)

  As all have said before me, do not get baptized.....
